WHO WE ARE
Pat Valentine has been working in the nursery trade and as a landscape contractor for more than 40 years. He established Valentine Gardens in 2002 so that he could grow and sell quality plants. 

Patricia Schrieber retired from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society after 36 years, where she worked as garden designer and garden educator. Prior to working at PHS, she was an intern at the Morris Arboretum.

FROM SCHUYLKILL EXPRESSWAY, take Route 202 South to Route 30 Downingtown/Frazer.  Get in right lane and when Downingtown/Frazer lanes split, follow the signs for Route 30 Downingtown.  ****Stay on Route 30 past all the Downingtown exits. Take the second Coatesville exit, the one that’s marked Route 82. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left on Route 82 North. Stay in the left lane and turn left at the next stop sign on to Route 340 heading west. Your landmark is a Turkey Hill convenience store. Go approximately four miles on Route 340 to Sandy Hill Rd. A landmark to look for is Kings Highway Elementary School on the right. Sandy Hill Rd. is the next right turn, about a half-mile beyond the school. Turn right on Sandy Hill. Valentine Gardens is 8/10 of a mile on the right, the ninth driveway on the right past the stop sign at Coffroath Rd. Look for our sign at the end of the driveway.

FROM PENN. TURNPIKE - DOWNINGTOWN EXIT, take Route 100 South for a short distance to the second traffic light, where Routes 100 and 113 intersect.  Turn right on Route 113.  Go several miles, past a number of traffic lights.  Keep going and once you start driving down a long hill, watch for a right turn ramp on to Route 30 By-pass.  Once you're on the highway, follow the directions From Schuylkill Expressway starting at the ****.

FROM PENN. TURNPIKE - MORGANTOWN EXIT, take Route 23 West goes through Morgantown to Route 10 South.  Turn left on Route 10.  Stay on Route 10 South past Honey Brook (Rtes 10 and 322) and go another few miles until traffic light at the intersection of Routes 10 and 340.  Turn left on Route 10, and then almost immediately turn left again at the yellow blinking light on to Route 340 East. Take Route 340 East about two miles to the first full intersection, which is Sandy Hill Rd., and turn left. You’ll also see a sign for Valentine Gardens on the right side of the road pointing left. Valentine Gardens, 358 N. Sandy Hill Rd., is 8/10 of a mile on the right, the ninth driveway on the right past the stop sign at Coffroath Rd. Look for our sign at the end of the driveway.

FROM ROUTES 30 & 10, take Route 10 North to the second right turn on to Beacon Light Rd. Take Beacon Light to where it ends at Old Wilmington Rd. Turn right and make an immediate left on to Sandy Hill Rd. at the Sandy Hill Community Church. Go straight on Sandy Hill Rd. past the first stop at Route 340. Continue on Sandy Hill Rd. Valentine Gardens, 358 N. Sandy Hill Rd., is 8/10 of a mile beyond Route 340, the ninth driveway on the right past the next stop sign at Coffroath Rd. Look for our sign at the end of the driveway.
